Angelica Huston guests on Medium

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

I haven’t seen Angelica Huston in anything for a while, but she will be showing up on Medium this fall, where she will play an investigator for the firm Ameritips named Cynthia Keener.

“When we decided to embark on a six-episode arc involving a formidable female character, the challenge was to find an actress who could hold the screen with Patricia [Arquette] while creating sparks of her own,” series creator Glenn Gordon Caron explains to the Hollywood Reporter. “I couldn’t be more excited or more inspired [to have Huston in the role]. The idea of writing for two such extraordinary actresses… is exactly the kind of creative kick in the ass we relish on Medium.”

No word yet on an airdate for the episode, but she will appear in six episodes.

Medium back for a fourth season

Monday, May 7th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Medium has been picked up for next season, which will be the series fourth season.

NBC has handed out an early renewal to “Medium,” which will return for a fourth season in the fall.

The Patricia Arquette supernatural drama, a middling performer in the ratings, is averaging 8.5 million viewers so far this season, down from 11.2 million at the same time last year.

It is good to see this show picked up, which has never performed fantastic but has always held steady in the ratings.

David Arquette to direct an episode of Medium

Thursday, March 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Medium is turning into a family affair when star Patricia Arquette’s brother shows up on set to direct an upcoming episode this season. David Arquette, who is married to Dirt’s Courtney Cox, will direct an episode which has yet to be taped.

On the matter of having to take orders from little brother David, Medium star Patricia Arquette was more than amiable, saying “I was always a bossy little girl and being David’s older sister I’ve bossed him around quite a bit. Now that he’ll be directing me it will be payback time, I think it will be really interesting being directed by David because he knows me so well and I feel so safe with him. I think I’ll be able to go to some of my darkest places.”

I don’t think I realized that David also worked behind the scenes as well. He just finished directing a feature film, The Tripped, which is currently scheduled for a fall release.

Arliss Howard the Texas Ranger returns to Medium

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Arliss Howard, who plays the Texas Ranger previously on Medium is coming back for yet another episode Except this time, the roles are reversed and it is he who comes to Alison after he starts having disturbing dreams.

Do you have any Medium info?
Do I ever! I emailed Medium coexecutive producer Javier Grillo-Marxuach asking what he was up to, and he replied with lots of juicy goodness: “My next episode is titled ‘Apocalypse, Push.’ It is currently being filmed, and it features the return of the inimitable Arliss Howard as Texas Ranger Captain Kenneth Push, who—this time around—comes to Allison for help when his own dreams of criminal activity come true, and he begins to suspect that he may have somehow received a touch of the psychic world…

Gotta love Kristen and her scoops!

Just what Medium needs… a Chuckie episode

Monday, December 18th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Well, you knew it was only a matter of time before Medium featured a Chuckie-like character. And it looks like the tenth episode of the season will feature just that. The episode, Very Merry Molly, seems to allude to one of those multi-functional interactive type dolls (look at little Molly pee, poop, drink her bottle, kill people…)

There is no air date yet for the episode.

Medium will start second season with two hour premiere

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Medium fans will be happy to hear that not only is Medium returning to air earlier than expected (as reported here) but now the season will launch with a special two hour season premiere.

The two hour season premiere will air Wednesday, November 15th from 9-11pm. It will air at its regular timeslot the following week on Wednesdays, 10-11pm.

The season premiere might be the episode featuring Patricia Arquette’s real-life husband Thomas Jane, although that one may be put off to later in the season due to special effects the show is using for it.

And we have one more Medium spoiler we will be posting for your enjoyment very soon!

Patricia Arquette’s new hubby Thomas Jane set to guest star on Medium

Sunday, October 29th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Patricia Arquette’s husband, Thomas Jane, is set to guest star on the popular series Medium, where he is set to star as Arquette’s character’s ex-boyfriend.

Thomas Jane will play Clay Bicks, a photographer who will end up at Allison’s door the moment after he dies… but in true Medium fashion, Clay won’t realize he is actually dead. Once he discovers the truth, and learns he will never have a life with Allison, he decides to stay put in the Dubois household so he can be forever close to his so-called beloved. As you can imagine, Joe (Jake Weber), Allison’s husband, isn’t quite so happy with this new arrangement.

Thomas and Patricia were married this past June in Venice, Italy. They also have a daughter together, Harlow Olivia Calliope born in 2003.

Medium finally has its fall time slot and season premiere date

Monday, October 16th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Fans of Medium will vbe pleased to know that NBC has finally been given a time slot and season premiere date. Fans were starting to worry that there would be waiting until the new year to see new episodes, but the early demise of Kidnapped, which has now been relegated to Saturday nights, means that Medium has a brand spanking new time slot on Wednesdays at 10pm.

Unfortunately, fans of Crossing Jordan will not see that show hit the Wednesday night time slot instead, which has been waiting for a time slot since it got bumped by the Bob Saget 1 Vs. 100 game show.
